HR for small companiesHRFix Founder, Jeff Jeans is no stranger to hard work and rigorous standards. Prior to launching his career in the Human Resources industry, he served for seven years as an active-duty United States Marine. During the course of his service he served on Embassy Duty in Lusaka Zambia and as part of the Inspector Instructor Staff for 14th Marines.

His military background laid a solid foundation for his subsequent success with Las Colinas Corporation where he coordinated an astonishing improvement in employee retention and safety.

He was fiercely recruited and ultimately hired away by other large corporations to refurbish their respective HR departments; in due course, Jeff established his own consulting company.

Jeff’s experience with resolving conflicts between employees and employers makes him a highly sought after speaker and trainer in the HR Compliance field.

To date, he has written more than 700 EEOC position statements on behalf of his clients and is frequently retained to develop post-settlement training for businesses who have undergone EEOC suits.

His commitment to focusing on compliance has not shifted despite ever expanding opportunities in other functional areas of HR. He remains true to his goal of helping employers meet the challenges of conducting business in our increasingly litigious society.

HR for small companiesPaul Hood is an AV-rated attorney, who graduated from the University of Texas (Austin) in 1984, and Texas Tech School of Law in 1987, where he was a published editor of the Law Review. Paul began his legal career in San Antonio but has practiced in Dallas since 1990, and is licensed in all state and federal courts in Texas, and the United States Supreme Court.

Paul has represented employers in a variety of disputes, including discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour complaints, OSHA inspections, wrongful discharge lawsuits, workplace injuries, and complex litigation. He has represented companies of various sizes, from small or medium-sized entities to large multinational corporations. His experience includes advising clients regarding employment matters, as well as representing them in courtroom litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He is also experienced in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, and employee policies and manuals.

Paul is the president and sole shareholder of his own law firm, Paul M. Hood, P.C., which he started in 1998. From 1999 to 2003, Paul served on the Board of Directors for UCP of Metropolitan Dallas, Inc., a local charity dedicated to advancing the rights of people with disabilities. He has been quoted by the Journal of the American Bar Association, and has given numerous speeches regarding employment issues, including the HR Southwest Human Resources Conference and Exposition in Fort Worth, Texas.

Paul lives in Dallas, and spends most of his free time chauffeuring his children, Gracie and Jack, to and from various activities, and listening to them talk about Instagram and Ninjago. He enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with his family.

HR ComplianceDoug’s passion for computers started when he built his first computer at the age of eight and needless to say, he’s been hooked ever since. After high school he attended University of Texas at Dallas where he graduated Cum Laude with a double degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering in 2005. Before he even graduated college, companies were hiring Doug to assist them with their technology needs.

Doug has been developing web based software solutions professionally for over 12 years.

With his innovation and years of experience, HRFix has the best technology backbone in the industry.

Along with being the Chief Technology Officer for HRFix since it’s inception, Doug Greene is also the cofounder of YAVO, a local volunteer organization centered on getting Young Adults involved in their communities. His hobbies include business, photography and travel.

Andrew Gwynn
 


 

His background and experience begin with a B.S. of Civil Engineering. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1994, Andrew served in the Marine Corps as a CH-46E helicopter pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Officer, and Forward Air Controller. He remained on active duty from 1994-2003 when he returned to the Dallas area to oversee the family business, Tejas Textured Stone.

In 2006, he sold the flourishing company to Pavestone and remained as VP of Operations until 2009.

Andrew has built, staffed, and successfully launched multiple businesses including factories in Florida, California, and Texas.

He and Jeff also founded Compliant Background Chex together in 2012.

Rob Haddon
 


 

 Rob has been in the Human Resources and Staffing world since the late 1970’s. His career in HR began after he served as an Artillery Officer with the United States Marine Corps. He was hired by Ross Perot to work as part of his special project team at Electronic Data Systems where he worked with clients all across the U.S. After Ross left EDS, the special projects team was disbanded and Rob went on to work and manage several staffing and human resource departments, including AMR (parent company to America Airlines), Sequent Computers, Efficient Networks, and JD Carreker & Associates, just to name a few.

Rob ran his own consulting business, RHR Services, for over 10 years where he was responsible for all sales and marketing of the business. He brought his expertise in sales, marketing, and Human Resources to HRFix where he is responsible for all sales and marketing, HR consulting, and client interactions.

Rob resides in McKinney, Texas, with his wife Elizabeth. When he’s not visiting with his grandkids, he is heavily involved in studying Martial Arts and is still teaching seminars to different groups.
